It is slim and lightweight and feels comfortable to hold. The front is protected by the conic gorilla glass which did well in our protective test. Tecno rates the 30S IP53, which means it is Water and splash-resistant (we don’t advise you to dip it inside water or go swimming with it). This design allows you to use the phone when there is water or splash on your screen. The power and volume buttons are placed the the frame’s right side for convenience while the USB-C port is placed on the frame’s lower end. The Tecno Camon 30S is available in Celestial Black, Nebula Violet, Dawn Gold, and Blue.DisplayThe Camaon 30S’s display is 6.78-inch in size, it is an AMOLED type which is 120Hz meaning that it can show 24-fps content, displaying each frame five times reaching  1300 nits (HBM). The display being one of the selling points of the Camon 30S is bright enough making it usable under direct sunlight. It also doesn’t support HDR so it cannot produce the same level of brightness, contrast, and color depth as an HDR-compatible display. Also, being a curved display it won’t have issues like accidental touch but you should be worried in case it accidentally falls. Overall, the display is good for gaming and watching videos.PerformanceThe Tecno Camon 30S’ Mediatek Helio G100 (6 nm) is similar to the Camon 30 MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate processor but it has a more capable image processor and more advanced network capability. Although the performance is a bit behind the Tecno Spark 20, opening apps and browsing the internet is more than what you are paying. The Camon 30S is fast enough to handle most of the things you throw at it. In gaming, we tested the Camon 30S with PUBG, and to our surprise, it did well, although you don’t get the high graphics settings you get in the Samsung Galaxy A55. When gaming its Dual Speaker also performs well. The phone runs on Android 14, under the HIOS 14, and TECNO promises up to 2 major Android upgrades. You also get 256GB of ROM and up to 16GB RAM when extended. This combination ensures you can browse the web, use social media, and even play light games without experiencing lag.CameraWith its dual-camera configuration on the rear, the Camon 30S can capture high-resolution photographs thanks to its 50MP primary sensor.
